Photos From a Road Trip
In May, 2011, Joan and I drove an RV from Forest City, Iowa to Anchorage, Alaska. We picked up a new RV from the manufacturer in Iowa for Great Alaskan Holidays, a rental company in Anchorage. We drove 4800 miles from Iowa to Idaho, British Columbia, Alberta, the Yukon Territory and Alaska. We saw spectacular mountains, rivers, waterfalls, bear, moose, elk, caribou, porcupine, Trumpeter swans and eagles. We drove in rain, snow, wind and beautiful weather. A real once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Here are a few photos from that trip.
